Judith Kaufman Weiner

Born in the Bronx in1939, raised in Queens, and currently lives on the East End of Long Island.

Judith Kaufman Weiner was trained as a painter and sculptor at MOMA, Art Students League, Boston University School of Fine and Applied Arts, New York University, and New York Institute of Technology. Years of painting were followed by a decade of building ceramic sculpture. The next several decades were spent as an arts administrator and lobbyist, convening and training arts leaders in NYS and lobbying in Albany and Washington D.C. for government support of the arts. Returning to painting in 2015, the work now builds in sequence and in three-dimensional multiples.
